This evening Terry Fox's brother, Fred, spent some time in Liberty Village. There was a get together at Ciao Europa Cafe for the 'hood to come and meet Fred.
There were books you could purchase (with the proceeds going to our run fund) which Fred was happy to sign.
Danny Granger had done a drawing of Terry using a Sharpie, which he gave to Fred.

Our run leader, Jagger, introduced Fred and said a few words.
Fred talked about the magic of Terry Fox and how important the foundation and the runs are to finding a cure for cancer.
Fred was very friendly and approachable and chatted with everyone.
Ciao Europa Cafe provided us with some complementary pizzas. Joy MacDonald from Wine Lovers Agency donated wine. Glasses of wine were a donation of $5 which went to our run fund ... thanks, Joy!
Fred was happy to autograph books and pose for pictures.
