Toronto Rock 11, Philadelphia Wings 10, Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON

Gord and I are season ticket holders for the Toronto Rock lacrosse team games ... the Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).  This is our sixth year going to the games and our fifth year having seasons tickets.

The Rock Cheerleaders greeted everyone as they entered the area ... here's Gord with a couple.

The Rock were hosting the Philadelphia Wings tonight in second home game of the 2018-19 season (it's their third game of the season).  Coming into tonight's game, they were 1 - 1.

We got there early enough to watch the Rock warm up.

Scotty Newlands sang the national anthems.

The Rock players huddled before the game started.

And the game began ...

Here is the view from our seats ...

When the Rock scored the first goal, Tim and Gillian, season's ticket holders who sit in front of us, were happy.

At the end of the first quarter, the score was tied 1 - 1 ... it was a slow start.

DJ Sweet Lou provided the tunes during the game ... happy birthday, DJ Sweet Lou!

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained.

At the end of the first half, the Rock was winning 3 - 2.  Yay!

Iggy, the Rock mascot, entertained during the intermission, showing off his Rock-hard abs!

Then the third quarter began ...

The red-wigged guys were there but were missing one.

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.

At the end of the third quarter, the Rock was winning 7 - 6.  Yay!

Our pal, Trish, came to the game too.

Tonight's attendance was about 8,300.

The prize for the 50/50 draw was just over $7,000.

Alas, we didn't win it.

Iggy hung out in our section in the fourth period.

He wasn't pleased when Philadelphia scored
Everyone loves Iggy!

The score at the end of the fourth period was 10 - 10.

The Rock scored about four minutes into overtime ... yippee!

Tim and Gillian were happy!

The Rock players congratulated each other and then shook hands with the Philadelphia players.
