Northern Maverick Brewing Co., Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper at Northern Maverick Brewing Co. this evening (on Bathurst Street just north of King Street W) before we saw The Woods are Dark and Deep at the Factory Theatre across the street.   We'd been there before and had had a good meal.

My Vienna lager was tasty.

We both ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken.  The breading on the chicken was light and crispy.  The chicken was thighs and very tender and juicy.  I'm not a fan of slaw so Gord ate mine and he said it was good.  The cornbread was really good ... so good that we asked for an extra piece!  We'd get this again.

Dan was our server and he was friendly and took good care of us.  He's originally from Newfoundland and we had a fun chat about cats and tats (tattoos) among other things.  Roger, the manager, came by a few times to check on things and we ended up having a nice chat with him too.
