Toronto Rock 15, Rochester Knighthawks 13, Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON

Gord and I are season ticket holders for the Toronto Rock lacrosse team games ... the Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).  This is our sixth year going to the games and our fifth year having seasons tickets.

Tonight the Rock were hosting the Rochester Knighthawks.

Our friends, Rona and Jacob, joined us.  Jacob moved here from Italy in the fall.  He is a big soccer fan and this was his first lacrosse game ... in fact, this was his first game that was held inside.

Because it's St. Patrick's Day weekend, there was a pipe and drum band.

Scotty Newlands sang the American national anthem.

Amy DeBlois sang the Canadian national anthem.

The Rock players huddled before the game started.

And the game began ...

Here's the view from our seats ...

When the Rock scored their first goal, Tim and Gillian, season's ticket holders who sit in front of us, were happy.

Iggy, the Rock mascot, was festive!  He spent some time in our section ... everyone loves Iggy!

Even the beer seller loves Iggy!

At the end of the first quarter, the Rock were winning 5 - 4.

The red-wigged guys were green-wigged guys tonight.

DJ Sweet Lou provided the tunes during the game.

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained.

At the end of the second quarter, the Rock were winning 10 - 8.

And the second half began ...

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.

At the end of the third quarter, the Rock were winning 13 - 11.

The prize for the 50/50 prize was over $12,000!

Alas, we didn't win.

The attendance at tonight's game was almost 13,000!

Iggy shared some more of his love!

Look at those abs!

The Rock won 15 - 13 ... whoohoo!

Tim and Gillian were happy!

The Rock players shook hands with the Knighthawks players.

The Rock players thanked their fans.
