I had supper this evening at Bon Temps Cafe ... its goal is to bring a taste of Louisiana in Saskatoon.
It was a fun spot!
I couldn't decide between the Jambalaya and the Blackened Chicken Breast. Star, my server, said both are popular dishes. She suggested I get the Blackened Chicken Breast and swap out the potatoes, corn puree and green beans for Jambalaya ... so that's what I did. The Jambalaya was spicy but good. I was a bit put off, though, when I found a small chicken bone in it. The Blackened Chicken Breast was good too, especially when dipped in the lemon butter cream. The biscone was interesting ... it was like a dense tea biscuit. It was a lot of food and I ended up leaving about half of the Jambalaya and a chicken breast.
Star was friendly and took good care of me.
