Steam Whistle Biergärten, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper at Steam Whistle Biergärten, which recently opened at Steam Whistle Brewery (just south of Ripley's Aquarium).

Servers take your alcohol order and bring it to you.  You have to go to the green container to order and pay for your food (they bring it to you).  So if you are eating and drinking, you end up with two bills.

Though we had had decided what we were going to eat, we both changed our minds when we saw what a family we were sharing our table with were having.  Gord ordered a  BBQ Cheeseburger.  He said it was delicious and he would get it again.  The burger is cooked "medium" ... it looked a bit too rare for my liking and I would get it medium-well if I get it.

I'm not a big fan of battered fish but couldn't resist ordering it.  The batter was really light (just the way I like it) and the fish was delicious.  I'd get this again.

Alex was our server and he took good care of us.
