The club is noted as being the first North American team to play in the Rugby Football League system, the first fully professional rugby league team in Canada and the world's first transatlantic rugby league team. Their home stadium is Lamport Stadium (aka "The Den"), which is just a couple blocks from where Gord and I live.
Today the was the last game of the season and the Wolfpack were playing the Leigh Centurions. Going into today's game, the Wolfpack was in first place with just one loss and Leigh was in fourth place with eighteen wins. Gord's friend, Roger, joined us.
During the week, the Wolfpack sent out an email inviting season ticket holders to renew for the 2020. As an added incentive, the first 100 to renew would receive a free jersey. Gord and I renewed right away and here we are in our free jerseys. Thanks, Wolfpack!

The playoffs start in two weeks and we'll be there. Because of how well the Wolfpack did, their games will be at home. There will be at least two playoff games. If the Wolfpack win the last one, they will move up to the Super League. Go, Wolfpack, go!
