Duke's Refresher and Bar, Toronto, ON (Front Street)

After we saw A Streetcar Named Desire, Gord and I had supper at Duke's Refresher and Bar on Front Street ... it opened about two weeks ago.

There are lots of games to keep you amused.

Gord love love loves pinball

Gord ordered Fried Chicken with a Caesar Salad.  What a meal!  He gave me a piece of his chicken and it was really good.  He'd get this again (as would I).

I love love love pizza and ordered the Meat Lover's pizza.  I asked if it had tomato sauce and was told "yes" but it doesn't.  The cream sauce was interesting and different but good.  Once my pizza arrived, I asked for a side of tomato sauce and used it as a dip.

Kayleigh was our server.  She was friendly and took good care of us.  Mike was working the bar and brought our drinks to us.  It turns out he is from the same small town in Nova Scotia I'd lived in before I moved to Toronto and I'd worked with his cousin, Jim.
