Mosaic, Blue Mountains, ON

Gord and I spent Friday and last night at Mosaic in Blue Mountain Village.  We've stayed there a couple times before and liked it.

We had a one bedroom suite again.

We were on the fourth floor ... here's the view from our terrace.

Georgian Bay is off in the distance

There was an outdoor pool and hot tub (which are open from 7am to 11pm).  There are towels in the fitness room to use at the pools.  The air was below freezing and though the pool was heated, it wasn't heated enough for us.  Ha!  There were kids playing in it and they had no problem with it.  We did spend time in the hot tub, which was a popular spot.

The Mosaic is in the village, walkable to everything ... restaurants, shopping, hiking and more.  They have 163 suites ranging from bachelors to three-bedrooms.  There were three elevators but only one was working ... which was a pain as we had a long wait sometimes.

Nearby outdoor parking is free but we got the heated indoor parking under the hotel for $15/night (though, we didn't move the car once we arrived Friday afternoon).

Basic WIFI was free for six devices ... while it wasn't overly speedy, we were able to do what we wanted to do online. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc. There was a coffee maker (and supplies), fridge, microwave, toaster, burners, etc. We ate our meals out every day but could have cooked our meals in our suite had if we wanted.

The iwa Spa is attached to the hotel. Yesterday we did a restorative yoga class in their warmed Gan•ban volcanic rock studio (you get the added benefits of cleansing, pain relief, deeper easier movement and incredible stress reduction).  Patsy was great!

It was a really nice weekend and we look forward to coming back again.
