Corks Beer & Wine Bar, Liberty Village Longos, Toronto, ON

Longos opened before Christmas in Liberty Village (on King Street W at Atlantic Avenue).  It''s the first grocery store in Canada to be fully licensed ... so you can drink a beer or glass of wine while you shop.  It's a big fresh grocery store that includes Corks Beer & Wine Bar.

Gord and I checked it out this afternoon and wandered into Corks Beer & Wine Bar.

Amsterdam Brewery Co. had a brewery on-site

Today's special (it's tomorrow and Monday's special too) was a 10-inch pizza with three ingredients and a 16 ounce beer for just $12.  I got pepperoni, salami and bacon on my pizza and a 3Speed Lager.  The pizza was good.  I'd get it again.

Carlos, the server/bartender, was friendly and chatty.  We'll be back!
