Gord and I had supper this evening at the Dog & Bear (Queen W/Dovercourt), which is in our 'hood.
We split an order of wings (salt and pepper). They were okay ... a bit overcooked.
We both ordered the D&B burger. I got mine with no cheese, onions and lettuce and Gord got his without tomatoes. It is quite the burger! So delicious!
Katie was our server. She's so friendly and took good care of us.

My experience at Dog and Bear was nothing short of disgraceful. As an Asian patron, I was subjected to blatant racial discrimination. The bartender insulted me, calling me a “disgusting dirt bag,” and accused me of pushing another customer—an absurd and unfounded claim. When I tried to explain, they escalated the situation, berating me and insisting I leave. To make matters worse, I saw another Asian patron being kicked out as I arrived. This wasn’t an isolated incident but a clear reflection of how minorities are treated here. If you’re Asian, don’t waste your time or money on this place.
