Toronto Rock 13, Buffalo Bandits 9, Scotiabank Arena, Toronto, ON

Gord and I are season ticket holders for the Toronto Rock lacrosse team games ... the Rock is a professional lacrosse franchise in the National Lacrosse League (NLL).  This is our seventh year going to the games and our sixth year having seasons tickets.

This afternoon the Rock were hosting the Buffalo Bandits.  Our friend, Trish, joined us.

We got there early enough to watch the Rock players warm up.

Scotty Newlands sang the national anthems.

The Rock players huddled before the game started.

And the game began ...

Iggy, the Rock mascot, loves everyone and everyone loves Iggy!

The red-wig guys were there (as usual).

The score at the end of the first quarter was 3 - 2 for Toronto.

Iggy was came over to our section.

... but the baby wasn't happy to be with Iggy and cried

The scored was tied at the end of the first half.

And the second half began ...

The Rock Cheerleaders entertained again.

The score at the end of the third quarter was 9 - 8 for Toronto.

DJ Sweet Lou provided the tunes during the game.

Buffalo fans?

The prize for the 50/50 draw was over $8,600!

Alas, we didn't win.

The attendance at this afternoon's game was just over 7,000.

Toronto won 13 - 9.  Yay!

The Rock players celebrated.
