Double Dutch knitted dishcloth

The Year of the Dishcloth is organized by the Kitchen Sink Shop. March's pattern is a Double Dutch dishcloth.

I used Bernat Handicrafter cotton yarn and a 5mm needle.

Cast on 38 stitches.

• Rows 1-3: K38
• Row 4: K3, P32, K3

Double Dutch pattern:

• Row 1: K3, *P4, K4* 4 times, K3
• Row 2: K3, *P3, K4, P1* 4 times, K3
• Row 3: K3, *K2, P4, K2* 4 times, K3
• Row 4: K3, *P1, K4, P3* 4 times, K3
• Row 5: K3, *K4, P4* 4 times, K3
• Row 6: K3, *K3, P4, K1* 4 times, K3
• Row 7: K3, *K1, P4, K3* 4 times, K3
• Row 8: K3, *P4, K4* 4 times, K3
• Row 9: K3, *P3, K4, P1* 4 times, K3
• Row 10: K3, *K2, P4, K2* 4 times, K3
• Row 11: K3, *P1, K4, P3* 4 times, K3
• Row 12: K3, *K4, P4* 4 times, K3
• Repeat Double Dutch pattern (rows 1-12) 4 times total

Finish:

• Rows 1-4: K38
• Bind off and weave in the ends
