The Wheatsheaf, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper this evening on the patio of the Wheatsheaf Tavern (King Street W/Bathurst Street).

We were seated under a speaker and the music was really LOUD ... we had to yell to talk. I know I sound old when I say that but it was LOUD. We asked if the speaker could be turned off but it couldn't be. Our server said he would turn it down, which he did ... and we still had to yell to talk. We were considering leaving and eating elsewhere when a high top table open up away from the speakers and we moved there. Much better!

Gord ordered fish and chips and said it was good.

I ordered chicken souvlaki (with no salad). It was okay but I thought it was a bit pricey at $21 for what I got.

Food looks good but that is a tad expensive for what you got.
