The John, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper this evening at The John (Bloor Street W/Dufferin street). It’s the first time we’ve been there and it had a fun vibe. 

They have a great craft beer selection

Gord ordered the John burger and fries, which he said was good and he'd get it again.  

I ordered a clubhouse sandwich and fries.  The sandwich was interesting because it was pulled chicken rather than sliced chicken.  It was good but because the bun was so hard and crusty, the insides of the sandwich squished out when I took a bite ... so a softer bun would work better.

After we ate, we played cribbage, which was fun.

Nicola was friendly and took good care of us.
