Friday - Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa, Varadero, Cuba

I started my day with breakfast at the Bistro … I ordered fried eggs, bacon and toast.

I had a buddy

I headed to the beach for a walk. It was fairly wavy at that point and eventually became a yellow flag day.

I had lunch at the Beach Grill. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a couple of beer, which were good. I had a table that was overlooking the water and the waves had really gotten wild … it had gone from a green flag day to a yellow flag day. There weren’t too many in the water but there were a handful playing in the waves.

I headed to the pool for the afternoon. Because the beach wasn’t a calm place to be, there pool areas were jammed.

The woman cleaning my room knew I'm heading home tomorrow and I guess she knows I'm heading back to Canada.  Brrr!

I had supper at the buffet (okay, not great) and then headed to the lobby bar for a couple drinks and read.
