Thursday - Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa, Varadero, Cuba

I didn’t feel like getting sandy today so spent the morning by the pool.

I had lunch at the Beach Grill (yes, my “usual spot” for lunch). I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a couple of beer, which were good.

Then I headed back to the pool for the afternoon.

My towel art today was lovely!

This was the first sunset I'd seen all week as I walked to supper ... maybe because it had rained in the late afternoon?

I had supper with some new buddies from Halifax at Armadillo, the TexMex restaurant.  It was a cool spot and the food was good. I got chicken quesadias and ice cream on a crusty shell filled with fruit for dessert.

I went to the bar for a couple drinks afterwards and read.
