Papi Chulo's Mexicana, Toronto, ON

Gord and I had supper on the patio of Papi Chulo's Mexicana (at Ossington and Argyle).


We ordered a pitcher of sangria to share and it was good.



Gord ordered an Ezquite "Street Corn" Cup and Cerviche Mixto and I ordered nachos with chicken. His dishes arrived first … huh?! Then the sangria arrived … huh!? Then my nachos arrived … and everything was cold The runny orange cheese was cold and the shredded mozzarella cheese was unmelted and still shredded. So I asked that it be put back in the oven. When it came back, it was still cold and unmelted. I was hungry and rather than send it back yet again, I ate it.


Though Gord enjoyed his meal, I won’t be back. How do you screw up nachos not once but twice?!  And no one seemed to care.
