Toronto Blue Jays 9 ~ Detroit Tigers 3, Rogers Centre, Toronto, ON

Gord and I went to this evening's Toronto Blues Jays game ... it was their 2023-24 home opener. They were playing the Detroit Tigers in front of a sold out crowd.

Here we are!

Everyone was given bracelets that lit up red, white, blue and gold during the opening ceremonies and when a Blue Jays player hit a home run.  Very cool!

During the Canadian national anthem, our flag was unrolled and held by 225 Canadian Armed Forces service personnel ... always nice to see.

Our seats were in the 113 section, near first base.

It was an exciting game, especially since the Blue Jays wone 9 - 3 ... there were some great plays and home runs! A fabulous way to start at home!
