Mateos Munchies, Toronto, ON

Mateos Munchies recently took over the space in the former Fahmee, next to No Frills at Lansdowne and Dundas W. After I finished getting groceries, I thought I’d check it out. I started talking with a nice fella outside, who turned out to be Mark, one of the owners. 

I got a large boneless jerk chicken and rice and beans dinner, figuring it was enough for my lunch today and tomorrow (and it was). The chicken was really tender and the jerk had the perfect bit of a bite. Delicious! And the cost was very reasonable.
