I ordered Cottage Pie (made in-house, fresh ground beef, carrots, peas and onions, slowly simmered and then topped with creamy mashed potatoes and served with a side of gravy) … I was expecting a pie and it was a Shepherd’s pie.
Gord ordered Bacon Wrapped Cabbage Rolls (a trio of cabbage rolls stuffed with ground beef and rice, wrapped in strip bacon, served with mashed potatoes and sour cream) … he swapped his mashed potatoes for fries.
Both were good.
Alex was our server and she was friendly.
