The Easiest Knitted Hat Ever

I just finished knitting "The Easiest Knitted Hat Ever" ... and it was indeed very easy!

I found the pattern here (you can also watch a YouTube video on how to make it). There are instructions for lots of different head sizes (preemie to adult large) and yarn sizes (super fine to super bulky) ... I used bright red 4 ply yarn and a 5mm circular needle.

I cast on 51 stitches and knitted 142 rows to make a rectangle. Then I sewed up the side and pulled the yarn through every second "bump" to form the top. I'm not a fan of pompoms but you can add one if you'd like.
