Sister Sarah sent me a picture of the panzerotto she had for supper last night and it looked good. I haven’t had one in years and used to get them from Panzerotto Pizza … which led me down the rabbit hole wondering what happened to Panzerotto Pizza. If you also wondered, they were acquired by Gino’s Pizza in 2011.
I headed to
Gino’s Pizza on the Lakeshore in Etobicoke for lunch today.
I ordered a small pepperoni panzerotto. I got it deep fried rather than baked (like in the old days!) and it was good.
