A community festival at Fort York in Toronto to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day with traditional dancing, drumming, giveaways, and craft & information booths. The Grand Entry is at noon, and the Pow Wow runs for the full afternoon.
We had seats in the stands and watched from there for a couple of hours. I'd never been to one before and it was very cool to experience! After the flags were brought out and the dancers came out and formed a circle, there was a prayer. Then there were a few songs where everyone was invited to join in and dance in a circle and many joined in.
