There are lots of interesting choices and they aren’t major chain restaurants which is a nice change.
Gord had a Seaside Sensation Roll (lobster and shrimp, mayo, onion, celery, herb seasoning, lemon) from Blue Claw Lobster Shack. He said it was really good and he’d get it again.
I had a boneless chicken roti from The Islands Caribbean Cookshop. It was really good and I’d get it again. It had lots of potato and chicken. It was wrapped in paper-lined foil, though, and then put in a container, which was weird (the paper-lined foil wasn’t necessary). I found the paper was separating from the foil and I couldn’t tell if I was eating roti or paper so I pulled the roti off the paper and put it directly into the container. Plus next time I will bring my own travel utensils as the bamboo knife and fork were useless when cutting into the roti.
